NILLION → brand identity


Nillion partnered with DayMonthYear to develop a compelling brand identity and naming strategy for both the company and its breakthrough technology. We named the company “Nillion” and, by association, their key technology “Nil Message Compute” (NMC) to reflect the concept of computation with zero visibility—a paradox at the heart of Nillion’s promise: something and nothing at the same time. Our work was very much early stage and foundational. Aside from their brand identity, we also assisted on all pre-funding communications such as pitch materials, community content, and visual communication tools that made Nillion’s complex technology accessible, resonating with investors, developers, and early adopters, and establishing its unique position in the web3 landscape. While still in growth mode, Nillion has raised $50M USD to date across 3 funding rounds and are poised for great things.
